RIKEN Special PostDoctoral Researcher

• RIKEN Special PostDoctoral Researcher: Maximum 3 years with good salary and research fund.

Applicants have to choose either Spin Physics Theory Research Team, CEMS or Condensed Matter Physics Laboratory, CPR. Please pay attention to the difference from Condensed Matter Theory Laboratory.

JSPS Reseach Fellowship for Young Scientists and Postdoctoral Fellowships for Research in Japan (Standard)

• Reseach Fellowship for Young Scientists: 3 years for Japanese.


• Postdoctoral Fellowships for Research in Japan (Standard): 2 years for non-Japanese.

Applicants have to choose either Spin Physics Theory Research Team, CEMS or Condensed Matter Physics Laboratory, CPR. Please pay attention to the difference from Condensed Matter Theory Laboratory.

Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher

• Research Scientist: a senior researcher corresponding to assistant professor - associate professor in universities. Maximum 3-5 years.


• Postdoctoral Researcher: Maximum 2 years. Extension is possible depending on the achievements.

Junior Research Associate and International Program Associate

• Junior Research Associate: for Japanese.


• International Program Associate: for non-Japanese.
